NASYN FC-46
NASYN FC-46 is custom-blended polyalphaolefin (PAO) synthetic hydrocarbon lubricant giving improved lubrication at high and low temperatures, reduced volatility, and compatibility with mineral oils and equipment designed for use with mineral oils. This lubricant provides greatly improved wear, oxidation and lubricity vs. currently available H-1 food grade synthetic lubricants. This lubricant was designed with a proprietary additive package and is registered with NSF. NASYN FC-46 is formulated for extended life for applications requiring excellent Oxidative, Rust and Corrosion resistance, low foaming and good water separation characteristics. These products have lower volatility than mineral oils, and are compatible with systems designed for use with mineral oils.
APPLICATIONS
Recommended for use in rotary and reciprocating compressors in applications where incidental food contact may occur with oil in the discharge air. Most commonly used for Compressor, Vacuum Pump, light duty Hydraulic Fluid, Bearing and circulating systems (coolant and heat transfer) applications where a rust and oxidation inhibited oil is required. Excellent properties at both high and low temperatures.

COMPATIBILITY
NASYN synthetic hydrocarbon based lubricants are similar to mineral oils in their compatibility with paints, seals, gaskets and hoses. No special precautions related to compatibility are required when changing over from a mineral oil lubricant to an NASYN synthetic hydrocarbon based lubricant.
